1) Women of Waverley Ladies Night of Comedy: Feb 2nd @ Waverley Church

Thou Shalt Have a Sense of Humour! Come to the Ladies Night of Comedy on Thurs Feb 2nd at the Waverley Church and help them fundraiser for their programming this year. I'll be performing with Rachel Sommer & Heather Witherden from Tazzy's Angels and it is going to be a fun night of females and giggles! Tell your sisters, girlfriends, Aunties, Moms, daughters and nieces!

2) TEDx Manitoba: Feb 9th @ MTC Warehouse

I was nominated and accepted to be an official TEDx Manitoba speaker for 2012 (Major YAY!!!). If you are not familiar with TED see the site and listen to some talks. TED aims to share ideas with the world through innovative, though provoking speakers from around the world. On Feb 9th, 2012 TEDx will have a full day of amazing idea sharing from a list of amazing people from Winnipeg and around the world. I am sohonoured to be on the list and can't wait to give my talk. Check out details and read my answers for the TED 5 Quick Questions. 

3) Fort Garry Women's Resource Centre's Fab Fem Fundraiser: Feb 15th @ West End Cultural Centre

I contribute regularly to the programming at the Fort Garry Women's Resrouce Centre through free workshops and lectures and they have asked me to be a part of their fundraiser this year as a speaker/comedian! So I'll be spouting words of hilarity and wisdom for all the fabulous people in attendance! Come on down and support a great cause.

2) Comedy on the Corner: Sat Jan 7th @ Times Change(d) Club 

The first Saturday of every month I'll be hosting a hilarious comedy night at one of the best blues clubs in the city Times Change(d) High & Lonesome Club! The show will feature local comedians who have performed throughout North America, won comedy contests like Winnipeg's Funniest Person with a Day Job, Winnipeg's Gone Wacky and who have performed in the infamous Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. Cover charge is only $7 and there is food and drink available for purchase. 

WHEN: First Saturday of the month (next one: Feb 4th) 

TIME: 7-9pm

WHERE: Times Change(d) High & Lonesome Club, 23 Main (corner of Main & St Mary)
